Bartec on Fire at BNMS this Year

It was visitors, partnerships and giveaways galore at Bartec’s stand at the British Nuclear Medicine Annual Spring Meeting and Exhibition in Brighton last month.

As well as our Team of Mike Bewick, Jill Kirkbride, Istvan Szanda, Ben Clarke and Grahame McCracken playing host to a great number of visitors on the stand, we were delighted to be joined by Ole Hoy from Hoy Scandinavian whose products featured prominently in our display. Customer presentations and promotional literature featuring the Hoy range of products generated a significant number of enquiries.

Bartec also organised an Exhibition Competition for delegates, with the first Prize of a Kindle Fire HD7 and the runner up prize of a £20 iTunes Voucher. Delegates were asked to answer four questions about some of the products offered by Bartec and the competition attracted a lot of participation.  Many congratulations go to our winner Grace Blake, Trainee Clinical Scientist at the Royal Derby Hospital; and runner up Peter Bartholomew of Queen Elizabeth Hospital.

We’ve already got our thinking caps on for the next Exhibition!

Ed Sheeran drops in for an image…
Bartec have been very pleased to have provided a summer work placement to Max Capel – not only a very talented B.Eng graduate of Lancaster University, but a very passable Ed Sheeran lookalike too!

During his time at Bartec Max has been an extremely resourceful and helpful member of our team, contributing to the day to day running of the Company, including the production of marketing materials and assisting with a range of projects.

More than Horseplay at BEVA 2015

Jill Kirkbride, Mike Bewick and Grahame McCracken attended this Year’s Annual British Equine Veterinary Association Congress in Liverpool last month. Bartec has recently been appointed UK Distributor for the French Digital X-Ray Company IDETEC and the main focus of our Exhibition stand this year was the formal introduction and launch of the IDETEC range of specialised Wifi Digital X-Ray Systems for Vets.

There was significant interest in the new IDETEC products, as well as the established Nuclear Scintigraphy range of products that we offer.

During the Congress Bartec ran a free raffle with a prize of a toy horse called Heunuc. The lucky winner was Melissa Parker of Melissa Parker Equine Veterinary Services, pictured top right accepting her prize from Bartec’s Jill Kirkbride.

Bartec once again attended this major conference last month, with no fewer than six company employees representing and supporting some of our major partners: Mediso – Biodex – EAZG – Hoy Scientific – Isotopes Technologies Dresden and Ec2 Software solutions.

Mike Bewick, Sales and Marketing Director, commented: “This year in particular was one of our busiest ever, with a great deal of interest in all our partners’ products and services!  The comprehensive portfolio of Bartec is now enabling us to offer complete solutions to the UK Nuclear Medicine community – from imaging systems, to sources, furniture to shielding products, as well as the information systems which in particular are very promising products.”

The end result is PET like image quality from a SPECT camera.
